<li>⅓ cup basil leaves loosely packed, rough chopped</li>
<li>zest from 1 lime (about ½ tsp)</li>
<li>2 pinches pepper</li>
<li>juice of ⅓ of a lime</li>
<li>salt and pepper to taste</li>
<li>grated parmesan, optional</li>
